Old English Sheepdogs
The breed of dog called Old English sheepdogs has been around for three hundred years. They are a type of herding dog. They were first raised by farmers in England. The dogs helped them bring cows and sheep to market.
Old English sheepdogs are large. They can weigh one hundred pounds. This made them perfect for keeping cattle from straying off the road. The dogs weren’t afraid of the cows.
