Night Flyers
Wings flap in the dark night. The air is filled with squeaks. The bats are hungry. While the hot sun is out, the bats sleep. Now the cool night is here. They search for food.
They fly out of their cave. Thousands of them live inside. All the bats fly out together. Their wings sound like a breeze. A bat swoops up. It eats mosquitos. A bat swoops down. It chomps a beetle. Bats look like birds, but they are not birds. They are mammals like us.
