Henry Ford
Henry Ford always wanted to build things. As a boy, he built small machines with other kids. He studied the insides of watches to learn how they worked.
He was born on a farm in Dearborn, Michigan in 1863. Ford didn’t want to be a farmer. At 16 he became an apprentice in a company that made train cars. Ford loved learning new things. He got a job with Thomas Edison’s company which built electrical stations. Soon Ford was a chief engineer.
