Giant Pandas

Panda bears are easy to spot. They have white faces. The fur is black on their ears and around their eyes. Their bodies are black with a big white stripe around their middle. The white part of the panda helps it hide in snowy places. The black part of the panda helps it hide in the shade.

They look cute and cuddly, but they grow to be large and strong. A female panda weighs 200 pounds. A male panda can weigh as much as 300 pounds.
