Fireflies

Have you been outside in the summer when it's getting dark? Have you seen lights in the sky? You might like to chase them. The light is called a firefly.

Fireflies can also be called lightning bugs. They have black wings and red heads. A firefly is a beetle. Its light makes it a special beetle.
